Java Version: Unsure if you mean the version of Minecraft, then 1.12.Modpack Version world created in: Sky Factory 4 4.2.2.Wait for the tree to grow again you should see the amounts in the Filing Cabinet not change at all. Now, remove the normal Folders and put in the Dyed Folders.Wait for the tree to grow you should see the amounts in the Filing Cabinet change. Open up the Filing Cabinet and place the normal Folders inside. The cabinet has a folder for every item the tree can grow (acorn, resin, leaves, wood, sticks, etc.). Fill each of the Dyed and normal Folders with the products of that Sapling (Saplings, Leaves, Acorns, Resin, Oak Wood, Sticks) I connected an item extraction cable from that chest into a filing cabinet. Get 6 Dyed Folders and 6 normal Folders.Directly below the Hopping Bonsai Pot, place a Filing Cabinet.Set up a Hopping Bonsai Pot with one of the Saplings (say, Copper). I don't know I've only ever played 4.2.2. Use the crafting table to make a crook to get more saplings from your trees leaves. The sooner the better to have a better chance of catching more saplings from the tree. Did this behavior use to work in the previous version? First steps: Chop down your tree Be careful not to dig up the dirt block when you do Turn your logs into planks and build a platform. So my assumption is that something is going on with the Hopper code itself. Hopper Pot/Hopper -> Itemduct -> Filing Cabinet functions completely normally, with or without Dyed Folders. That's how I deduced that the items were deleted. But when I checked the Filing Cabinet, the numbers hadn't changed at all. When I set up a Hopper in between the Hopper Pot and Filing Cabinet, I saw the tree products enter the Hopper and then disappear, as if they went to the inventory below. I then proceeded to test out varying combinations of Hopper Pot, Hopper, and Itemduct. I haven't tested every color, but so far I can confirm that this is the case with Green, Lime, White, Brown, Red, Orange, and Pink folders. The reason that I still had Acorns and Resin is because I hadn't decided on colors for them yet, so I used the regular folder. The Sapling folders were Green, Leaves were Lime, and extra produce was White. I eventually figured out that this was because I had decided to color-code certain folders just to make things look nice. My Sky Orchard trees were producing Acorns and Resin just fine, but many of my trees didn't produce Leaves, my Cottonwood Trees weren't producing Leaves or String, and the vanilla trees weren't producing anything at all. Casting the Molten Iron on an Acacia Sapling on a Casting Table will create an Iron Sapling.I noticed after a while that quite a few of my Bonsai Trees weren't producing items. You can then smelt the Iron Amber in the furnace for 1 iron ingot or you can use the smeltery or Melter to get two ingots of molten iron. To get Iron you have to craft Iron Amber using the alternative recipe since you do not have an Iron Sapling yet. Ok, Now I want Iron! No, it isn't Ironic, thank you. After a bit of time, they become Petrified Acorns, which can craft a Petrified Sapling. Plant more trees! With what dirt? Well you can craft that too! Make use of those dirt acorns and resin that you got from that tree!Īfter you get a simple tree farm going, get petrified acorns by making a drying rack (3 slabs on one row) and put the dirt acorns on. Use the crafting table to make a crook to get more saplings from your tree's leaves. Turn your logs into planks and build a platform. What now?Ĭhop down your tree! Be careful not to dig up the dirt block when you do! OnlyDraven has some good tutorials for Skyfactory 4! Check him out!
